Cameras are flashing across the Commonwealth, and the stars of these photoshoots are VNPC’s VIPs:
the real moms, babies and families of Virginia!
Virginia Neonatal Perinatal Collaborative is celebrating the real moms and families of Virginia through free professional maternal photoshoots. These sessions are helping VNPC build a stock photo gallery made entirely of real Virginia families. The images will support future marketing, education, and outreach efforts that advance VNPC’s mission to improve maternal and infant health throughout Virginia.
As of April 1, 2026 VNPC has hosted photoshoots in Norfolk and the Eastern Shore, with both photoshoots being well-attended by over a dozen local moms and families. VNPC has utilized public spaces for photoshoot locations; Norfolk’s photoshoot was in a local library, and the Eastern Shore photoshoot was in Accomack County’s Health Department building.
Now, VNPC is moving westward to central Virginia. The next photoshoot will be held at Red August Farm in Waynesboro on April 9.
VNPC is still seeking participants to help represent the diversity of Virginia’s pregnant and postpartum mothers, infants, and families. Appointments can be made online here, or by visiting our website or Linktree. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. These photoshoots are made possible by VNPC’s longtime partner– who VNPC summit attendees may recognize from free professional headshots and candid event photos– Virginia-based Kristine & Co Photography. As an added perk, participants will receive high quality digital copies of their own photos for their personal use.
